If you’ll recall, the Savanna Bananas were a HUGE hit in Disneyland last year when they visited, which is probably an indicator that Banana Ball is HUGE right now. Well, Disney is counting on that trend and has partnered with Savannah Bananas to bring even more Banana Ball to its streaming services…and even to ABC.

ESPN, Disney+, and the Savannah Bananas recently announced an exclusive package for 25 games to be aired on Disney’s streaming services in 2026. These games will be streamed on the ESPN app and Disney+ for unlimited plan subscribers, with select games airing across ESPN Networks and ABC. This marks the biggest Banana Ball distribution deal to date!

This agreement is DOUBLE last year’s and continues to expand Disney’s collaboration with Banana Ball. “This expanded agreement reflects the incredible growth and fan demand surrounding Banana Ball,” said Brent Colborne, Vice President of ESPN Programming Content & Strategy. “From iconic football stadiums to classic ballparks, these events showcase the energy and creativity fans love, delivered with the full reach and flexibility of ESPN, Disney+, and ABC.”

If you’re not yet familiar with Banana Ball, it’s baseball…but it’s also entertainment. The rules are also different from baseball, and the games are a lot faster.  Players also perform choreographed dances and comedic sketches between innings. Once you start watching it, we bet you’ll be hooked. And once you’re hooked, you need to take note: the Savannah Bananas will be at Disneyland on March 26th to align with their game at Angel Stadium.

You can also catch Banana Ball in Disney World on May 29th with a game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex between the Party Animals and the Loco Beach Coconuts. It seems like banana ball has gone mainstream.
