The mega-popular Savanah Bananas exhibition baseball team is bringing its act to the “Happiest Place on Earth” this coming March as part of their ongoing Banana Ball World Tour.

The March 26th visit to the park will coincide with the Bananas’ March 27th game against fellow independent barnstorming baseball team the Indianapolis Clowns at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium. (Incidentally, that facility was formerly owned and heavily refurbished by Disney during their ownership of the Angels franchise in the 1990s).

For those unfamiliar, the Bananas are an exhibition team founded in 2016. They were originally a collegiate summer team that played as part of the independent Coastal Plain League. However, they now tour the world playing an exaggerated version of baseball — entitled Banana Ball — against other teams also owned by the same owners (the Party Animals, the Firefighters, the Texas Tailgaters, the Loco Beach Coconuts, and the aforementioned Indianapolis Clowns).

While their games are competitive and unscripted, differentiating them from, say, the Harlem Globetrotters long-running exhibition, the rules of Banana Ball do emphasize entertainment, including dance routines, comedic sketches, and even musical performances in between innings.

The team’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years, with their tour selling out a large number of Major League Baseball stadiums in 2025 including New York’s Yankee Stadium, Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., Minute Maid Park in Houston, Fenway Park in Boston, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and Progressive Field in Cleveland, as well as several NFL and college football stadiums.

The 2026 tour will consist of stops at 14 MLB parks and 10 football stadiums, including two with a capacity of over 100,000 — Texas A&M’s Kyle Field (102,000) and Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium (101,000), all part of a 50-game regular season from the last weekend of April to September with the top three moving on to the playoffs. The season will conclude on October 10th, 2026, with the Banana Bowl championship.

The mega-popular Savanah Bananas will be making an appearance at Disneyland this March in the midst of the baseball team’s largest tour to date. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney happenings!
