The 2026 Disney Dapper Day Change You NEED to Know About

Dapper Day is such a fun event for people who love heading to Disney World or Disneyland Park and dressing up, and we already know when the majority of the 2026 events are taking place!

You’ll be able to find Dapper Day events on both the East Coast and West Coast for 2026, but if you were planning to go for the holiday outing in Disneyland, you need to know that the date has CHANGED!

The Holiday 2026 Dapper Day outing just had a date change that everyone needs to know about. Instead of November 15th, 2026, the event will now be taking place on November 22nd, 2026.

The reason for the change? Well, just a few days after Dapper Day released their events for the new year, Disneyland released the information that the holiday decor wouldn’t be up in Disneyland until a few days after the event. They know that seeing the holiday decorations and posing with them for photos is really important for many of their members, so they decided to make the rare choice to change the date of the event. Now that it takes place on November 22nd, the holiday decor will be fully up and ready for guests to experience!

Dapper Day organizers are also hoping to have a Pop-Up Holiday Boutique at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, but it hasn’t been guaranteed at this time. In-park meetups will also be posted closer to the event date. Don’t forget that you can also get special hotel rates at Disney Grand Californian, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disneyland Hotel, where you can save up to 36% off (which could be hundreds per night!)

What is Dapper Day, you ask? Well, these are hosted by a group NOT directly affiliated with Disney (but Disney is very well aware of them and supports the events by letting them happen), where everyone is encouraged to dress up in vintage-inspired garb. Some decide to dress like it’s 1955 when Disneyland first opened, or perhaps they put a spin on some fancy modern attire. It can be whatever you’d like it to be!
