Disney Fans Just Voted on Their Favorite EPCOT Festival and the Winner Shocked Us!

If there’s one thing we know about Disney fans, it’s that we have strong festival opinions.

EPCOT’s festivals are practically a personality trait at this point, and everyone has a go-to favorite that they’ll defend forever. So, naturally, we took the question straight to our AllEars community on Facebook to find out your thoughts on the matter, and wow, you all had a lot to say. What we didn’t expect? A landslide in favor of one particular festival. We honestly thought this would be a close race, maybe even a battle between the two heavy hitters Food and Wine and Festival of the Arts. But nope. You all came in with conviction and a surprising number of floral opinions.

We reached out to our followers on Facebook and Instagram to ask: “If only one EPCOT festival could stay forever, which one are you keeping and why?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!

Now, let’s go over some of your top responses!

“I have missed the beautiful flowers.”

First up is Teresa, who is firmly team Flower and Garden. She explained,

“Flower and Garden- As an older adult I don’t seek out characters for pictures but I do seek out topiaries. The few times I have been not during that time period, I have missed the beautiful flowers.”

Teresa isn’t alone. The topiaries really are the backbone of Flower and Garden, and for a lot of fans, they’re one of EPCOT’s most iconic visuals. They give the park this dreamy, hyper-seasonal glow that’s hard to replicate any other time of year.

Next we have B.J., who said,

“Flower and Garden! I love all the festivals but the topiaries and food are fantastic!”

Flower and Garden’s food lineup has become a major contender in recent years. It used to be all about Food and Wine, but let’s be real, Flower and Garden has been stepping up its culinary game with fresh, bright flavors that totally fit the season.

“The weather is also (usually) fantastic that time of year.”

Elise backed the festival even further, saying,

“Flower and Garden, the topiaries are so beautiful and the food and drinks are the best of any Epcot festival. The weather is also (usually) fantastic that time of year.”

It’s true. Visiting EPCOT during Flower and Garden often means breezy mornings, mild afternoons, and evenings that actually feel comfortable. Pair that with great food and gorgeous landscaping and it’s easy to see why it took the crown.

“…I have experienced the best food there of all the festivals I’ve been to.”

Ashley added her vote too, sharing,

“Flower & Garden. The park is absolutely stunning and I have experienced the best food there of all the festivals I’ve been to.”

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again. Flower and Garden’s glow-up over the last several years has been real. With the combination of atmosphere and menus, it’s no wonder so many of you choose it as your forever festival.

“I’ve always loved Food and Wine the most…”

Not everyone voted for Flower and Garden, of course. Taylor showed some love to another powerhouse, saying,

“I’ve always loved Food and Wine the most, Eat to the Beat series is cool also. I love all the little bites that Dosney World has to offer. 🍽️ 😋 Flower and Garden would be a close second.”

Food and Wine loyalists, we see you. Even if Flower and Garden took the overall lead, Food and Wine will always be the OG festival foodie paradise.

“For me, Food & Wine is a ‘Thank you’ to the adults who love Disney.”

George also cast a vote for Food and Wine, sharing,

“Food and Wine. It’s one of the few events that is, for the most part, geared toward the adults. For me, Food & Wine is a ‘Thank you’ to the adults who love Disney.”

This festival definitely brings a different energy to the park with tastings and those classic marketplace booths that guests plan their trips around.

“Festival of the Arts!”

Joelle gave her vote to the Festival of the Arts, saying,

“Festival of the Arts! I love everything about it, the photo setups, the chalk art, the community paint-by-numbers mural, the featured artists, the Broadway performers, plus the weather.”

Festival of the Arts fans will always be passionate, and honestly, with its creative energy and amazing entertainment, we get it.

“That’s like picking your favorite child…”

Finally, Dulcie admitted the struggle, sharing,

“I can’t choose just one! That’s like picking your favorite child … oh wait! I only have one 🤣”

Honestly, this may just be the realest answer of them all.
