Disney World Website Quietly Rolls Out a Subtle but Important CHANGE (and We LOVE It!)

Dear Disney fans, we have to be honest. Yes, the Disney World website has its kinks. It’s not perfect. But overall, the Disney World website is pretty user-friendly. Yes, there is a LOT of information on there, but it’s organized in a way that makes it pretty easy to navigate. It’s not like, say, the Burger King website, which feels like you have to go through twelve steps just to see the menu.

However, the “Deals and Discounts” page has been the one exception to our argument for years now. It’s not always easy to find the available discounts for your trip, and some may not be automatically applied to your booking. You’ll need to visit the page and search for them manually. Some of that is about to change, because there’s a NEW look to the Deals and Discounts page that you’re going to LOVE!

The new look on the Disney World website allows you to see all the Deals and Discounts in one place, if you’d like, but you can also use the filter to only see the discounts that are most beneficial to you! The categories are:

  • Room Only
  • Vacation Packages (Room + Tickets)
  • Tickets
  • Sports + Recreation
  • Dining
  • Credit Card
  • Discounted Dining
  • Passholder Offers

When you select one or more filters, you’ll immediately see only those offerings listed. This makes finding what you need MUCH easier, but it is important to note that this doesn’t mean that these deals will be applied immediately when you’re booking a trip. You’ll still want to check what deals and discounts apply to you, then proceed with your booking to maximize your savings.

  1. I’m not sure what I saved, but by using a combination of credit card points (Disney CC, Disney Redemption Card, Amazon CC, Southwest CC) & booking one resort with David’s DVC, I spent approximately $1464.36 on an 8-day, 7-night trip in early Sept. 2025.:

    Round trip air fare: $11.20
    Round trip Mears: $32.00
    Pop Century (3 nights): $611.05
Old Key West (4 nights): $720.00
    Amazon food delivery: $90.11
Beak & Barrel: $0.00 – Disney Redemption Card
Epcot: $0.00 – Disney Redemption Card
2 days at Typhoon Lagoon: Free with resort stay
Not So Scary: $0.00 – Disney Redemption Card
