We’ve got a big update from Disneyland Paris!

We’ve been anxiously awaiting updates on the new Frozen land coming to the park, and now we have a big one. Water has now been added to the flume of the ride, but not just any water. Disney decided to follow a tradition that was started many decades ago when “it’s a small world” was opening, and we love it!
Disney Imagineers have officially added water into the flume of Frozen Ever After, and while that’s a great step forward in itself, there’s something special about this water!

When “it’s a small world” opened back in 1966 in Disneyland, Walt Disney hosted a water ceremony, and had residents from all over the world pour water from waterways from their countries into the water of the ride. Now, Disney Imagineers poured water from other Frozen flume rides from the Disney parks around the world into the Disneyland Paris Frozen Ever After ride in another water ceremony!

Not only that, Imagineers also poured Norwegian water into the waterway, since that’s where the Frozen films take place.

World of Frozen will open in Disneyland Paris in 2026. The new land will be an addition to the reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World. World of Frozen will join Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar in the park. You’ll journey into Arendelle just as you do at Hong Kong Disneyland!

Disney also confirmed that the new attraction will open in 2026 — we can’t wait! Looking for more recent Disneyland Paris news? Check out our posts below!
