Epic Universe is almost here! Universal’s highly-anticipated new theme park is scheduled to open to the public on May 22nd, and fans are already salivating at the idea of experiencing the park’s new state-of-the-art attractions.

From the Universal Monsters-themed extravaganza of Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, to the revolutionary track layout of the Donkey Kong Mine-Cart Madness, the park promises several game-changing rides. However, for those planning to visit this year, that also means long lines. However, going by Universal’s app, one of our favorite queue hacks might be in play.
Within the Epic Universe map, which was uploaded to the app last week, we were able to go attraction-by-attraction through the park. One of the first things we noticed is that — perhaps unsurprisingly — many of the park’s rides are equipped to handle a Single Rider Queue.

Now, just because these rides are equipped with a single rider queue doesn’t mean they will have one on opening day, or at all, just that the infrastructure is there. As Universal states on the app, “The single rider option is subject to availability and may open or close at any time.”

The following Epic Universe attractions have the potential single-rider option listed in their descriptions:
- Curse of the Werewolf
- Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
- Mine-Cart Madness
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Stardust Racers

According to the Universal Orlando App, some of Epic Universe’s most anticipated rides are going to have the infrastructure for single rider lines ready to go, though it remains to be seen if they will be available when the park opens in May. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on the NEW park!
