The Orlando Airport Is Serving Up Some SERIOUS Disney Nostalgia

If you told us that the 25th Anniversary Birthday Cake Cinderella Castle happened over 25 years ago, we wouldn’t believe you — but it’s true.

It was… a special time.

Whether you were a fan of this iced monstrosity or not, one thing is for sure: it was certainly memorable. So much so, in fact, that folks are still making jokes about it and references to it to this day, including… the Orlando Airport?

The Orlando International Airport (MCO) has some serious social media game. Whoever runs their social media accounts needs a raise, because we’re constantly stumbling upon some serious gems that make us laugh way more than they should — and they recently threw some shade at Disney with a post on X/Twitter.

In a post from January 7th, MCO shared some well-wishes with their followers and said, “We hope the first week of ’25 has been extra sweet and super fly!” along with an air traffic control tower masquerading as the Cake Castle and “2025” plastered on top. Bravo, MCO social media team, bravo.

Cinderella Castle has had quite a few looks over the years! Aside from the Cake Castle, we also saw Stitch make a mess of things with toilet paper to celebrate his new ride, and of course, we can’t forget those incredible Castle Dream Lights (RIP).
