It’s beginning to look a lot like… Grinchmas.

While much of Orlando theme park Christmas focus goes to the litany of offerings at Disney World, Universal Orlando offers plenty of Christmas cheer across the resort. Perhaps their most beloved holiday tradition involves the crankiest Christmas character of all: The Grinch.
Grinchmas is staged at Universal’s Islands of Adventure’s Seuss Landing area, beginning November 22nd. According to Universal, the land is “decorated with the holiday charm and cheer of Dr. Seuss’s Who-ville.” During the event, you can enjoy The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a live retelling of the classic Grinch story, featuring a soundtrack recorded by Christmas music legends by Mannheim Steamroller.

This is a spectacular show that we absolutely recommend spending time checking out!

The celebration also features a meet & greet with the Grinch himself, a photo opportunity that’s ripe to use for a holiday card. Be warned, though! The wait time to meet the Grinch can get HIGH! We’re talking over 100 minutes. You may need to join a virtual queue to meet him, so be prepared to wait a good long while for your meet-and-greet.

In addition, you can catch Who-ville’s resident Who’s roaming the land! They’re so fun — you 100% won’t want to miss them.

Grinchmas is scheduled to run through December 31st, and all of these offerings are totally FREE, included with your park ticket! Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Universal’s Holiday events.
