It’s finally happening: Disney’s newest expansion has finally opened to the public!

Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs is now open to the public, which means everyone can now enjoy three new lands based around Disney’s Frozen, Peter Pan, and Tangled. We’ve already given you a good first look at Fantasy Springs, but what is it like now that it’s open to the public? Let’s find out.
Opening Day Crowds
Here’s the thing. Although there WERE crowds to get into Fantasy Springs on opening day, they were way calmer than we expected. It didn’t take very long at all to get through the entrance.

When it came to food, though, Mobile Order for all three restaurants in the new land filled up quickly. We noticed that Mobile Orders were no longer available for The Royal Banquet of Arendelle by 10:30AM, while Lookout Cookout and the Snuggly Duckling did not have Mobile Orders available after 3PM. For all three restaurants, you must have Mobile Order even to enter, so if you’re visiting Fantasy Springs and want to eat, you’ll want to get those food orders in super early.

Ride wait times were very reasonable, though. The longest waits were only around 30 minutes. Our vacation package came with priority access to rides (think Lightning Lane) and our longest waits were probably around 10 minutes.

There were some lines for merchandise at Fantasy Springs Gifts. These lines seemed to move pretty quickly, though. Once you reach the front of the line, you get a ticket that allows you one shopping transaction in the shop. You can buy as much as you want with that transaction, although some items were still limited to one per transaction.

We spotted longer lines for a gift shop near the entrance of Tokyo DisneySea, though, that also carried Fantasy Springs merchandise. It seems like those folks who didn’t get into Fantasy Springs still wanted to grab some exclusive merchandise.
The Three Lands
Here’s a quick recap of what you can see and do in Fantasy Springs. First up, there’s Frozen Kingdom, which is based on the kingdom of Arendelle as seen in the Frozen movies. The ride is Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, which is similar to Frozen Ever After in EPCOT — it tells the story from the first Frozen movie. For food, you can dine at The Royal Banquet of Arendelle or grab snacks at Oaken’s OK Foods.

You also have Rapunzel’s Forest, inspired by the movie Tangled. Here you can see a lifelike Rapunzel in her tower, as well as ride Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, a stunning ride through the story of Tangled. For eats, there’s the Snuggly Duckling.

Finally, you’ve got Peter Pan’s Never Land, where you can rub elbows with the Lost Boys and see Skull Rock and Captain Hook’s ship. The ride here is Peter Pans’ Never Land Adventure, which follows Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Boys as they set out to rescue John Darling, who has been kidnapped by Captain Hook. You can also go on an adventure with Tinker Bell on the Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies. For eats, there’s Lookout Cookout.

As you can see, there is a LOT to do in Fantasy Springs!
Characters
As far as characters go, Disney previously announced that Mickey and Minnie would be hanging out in Fantasy Springs in brand new outfits.

While we were there, we spotted some princesses near Fantasy Springs Hotel, including Rapunzel and Ariel.
We’ll let you know if we spot anything else in Fantasy Springs, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
