A Disney Park Is Getting a Special Version of SPLASH MOUNTAIN Soon!

Summer is very quickly approaching, and it’s expected to get pretty toasty at Disney Parks around the world, not just in central Florida. ?

Summer is quickly approaching!

Tokyo Disneyland is getting ready to bring on the heat! Not only will Tokyo DisneySea open its all-new Fantasy Springs land on June 6th, but the main park is also celebrating big for summer. Let’s talk about it!

This summer, Tokyo Disneyland will host a variety of “Get Soaked” events to help visitors cool down and enjoy all things SUMMER.

First, “Baymax’s Mission: Cool Down” will feature everyone’s favorite healthcare companion from Big Hero 6. Baymax will help raise the energy levels of visitors along the parade route by spraying them with WATER. How fun is that?! This is a returning event, and Disney tells us that this year, Baymax will soak visitors with more water than before. ?

Next up, “Splash Mountain ‘Get Soaked MAX'” will allow visitors to experience a special version of the attraction. “‘Get Soaked’ Toontown” will feature spots around the area where guests can get splashed and cooldown.

One of our FAVORITE parts of this news is that the Country Bear Theater will host “Vacation Jamboree,” the special summer version of the show, for the first time in five (!!!) years! This will take place from May 17th to November 7th.

Over at Tokyo DisneySea, Aquatopia will feature a ‘Get Soaked’ program!

That’s not all, though. At both parks, Cast Members will be carrying barrels of water to spray guests with a cool mist. There will also be new menus, T-shirts, and MORE.
