A huge Disney event is on the horizon, so of course, Disney is making a TON of announcements!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is the name of this year’s D23 extravaganza and there is a lot in store! From August 9th to 11th in Anaheim, California, fans will be able to attend panels, see the most expansive show floor in D23 history, and shop some exclusive items. That’s just the surface, though, so let’s get into ALL of the announcements Disney just made about the event.
Ticket Prices
Disney previously announced that tickets would start going on sale on March 26th…but now we know how much they’ll cost!
First up is the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket which includes a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to the experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center. These start at $297 per ticket.

Next is the D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket which will give you a reserved seat at the Honda Center on the date you choose. You’ll also have access to the Anaheim Convention Center experiences on that same date starting at $99 per ticket.

The D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket is the most expensive option starting at $999 per ticket and is exclusive to D23 Gold Members. This ticket includes 3-day floor seats for evening shows at the Honda Center and access to the Anaheim Convention Center on all three days.
If you only want to experience the Anaheim Convention Center, consider a D23 Fan Pass. These are the cheapest ticket options at the following prices:
- 1-Day Pass
- Gold Members: $79 per ticket
- General Members: $89 per ticket
- 3-Day Pass
- Gold Members: $209 per ticket
- General Members: $259 per ticket
Disney also made a graphic showing what is included with each ticket option.

You may notice the prices are noted as “starting prices” — that’s because the cost depends on the seat you choose at the Honda Center. Here’s a look at the seating there.

Before you buy tickets, make sure you are signed up as a D23 Member. The Gold Membership has a fee, but the general membership is free to join. Ticket sales span 3-days — here are the full details:
- March 26th at 12PM PT — D23 Gold Members can purchase tickets for a limited time
- March 27th at 12PM PT — D23 Gold Members and General Members who are purchasing with a Disney Visa card have access to pre-sale
- March 28th at 12PM PT — D23 Gold Members and General Members can purchase tickets while supplies last
Tickets typically sell out within minutes, so be sure to set your alarms now!
Schedule for the Weekend
The event lasts three days and each one is jam-packed with a full schedule. While Disney hasn’t released specific times and panels just yet, this gives you a look at what to expect each day!

This is helpful information for those of you planning to purchase a 1-day ticket!
NEW Location
Typically the D23 events are held at one location. But this year, you can go to events at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center!

The Anaheim Convention Center will host panels, allow you to shop for merchandise, and is home to the most expansive show floor in D23 history!
The Honda Center (which costs more if you want to go) will have three nights of showcases. Here’s the full breakdown:
- August 9th at 7PM: Disney Entertainment Showcase
- August 10th at 7PM: Disney Experiences Showcase
- August 11th at 5PM: Disney Legends Ceremony

Friday’s entertainment showcase will give exclusive looks at movies, shows, and stage shows and fans will be able to see what’s on the horizon. The Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday will probably be the biggest event for Disney Parks fans because we’ll get updates on new projects in the parks! On Sunday, the annual Disney Legends ceremony will honor several new people who made an impact on Disney.
Disney Legends Lineup
Speaking of Disney Legends, that brings us to the next point. Disney revealed the celebrities and Imagineers who will be honored as a Disney Legend at the 2024 ceremony!

14 people who have made an impact on Disney in some way will be recognized including actress and singer Miley Cyrus, director James Cameron, composer John Williams, and Imagineer Joe Rohde, to name a few. Ryan Seacrest will host the ceremony.

If you want to see it in person, be sure to grab a ticket that includes the Honda Center on Sunday, August 11th!
Disneyland D23 Day
Disney is going beyond the weekend this time around! Disneyland will be hosting a D23 Day on August 8th!

Fans will celebrate “from rope drop to late night” with offerings like a custom cavalcade, a dance party, photo ops, special foods, merchandise, and more. And, over in Disney California Adventure, Disney Junior will host a musical celebration.
D23 Event at Angel Stadium
That’s not all — there’s ANOTHER event happening to gear up for the big event weekend! For the first time ever, D23 Day at Angel Stadium on August 4th will bring D23 members together as the Angels take on the New York Mets!

The first 23,000 fans through the gates will get a one-of-a-kind D23 Mickey Mouse bobblehead. You can grab tickets here!
The Biggest Sweepstakes in Disney History
D23 has also announced the biggest giveaway in Disney history! D23: The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes promises “FANtastic” prizes — including a 7-night cruise on the Maiden Voyage of the Disney Treasure cruise ship!

D23 is promising lots more prizes for this sweepstakes, and we’ll bring you news about the rest of the prizes as soon as we get it. You will be able to enter beginning July 8th! The sweepstakes runs through August 11th, and we’re guessing the winner will be announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event being held that weekend in Anaheim.
First Look at Car Show
We also got a sneak peek at one of the showcases we can expect at the event this year — A Great Big Beautiful Car Show!

The show includes several famous Disney cars that have been pulled out of the archives to be put on display. We got to take a look at some of the most iconic vehicles used throughout some popular movies including this one from Cruella! That’s just the start — check out the rest of the cars we got to preview here.

Phew! That was a lot, right? We’ll continue to keep you updated as we get closer and closer to the event in August. In the meantime, keep following AllEars for the latest in Disney news!
