Get ready, Disney fans! This year’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event is going to be bigger and better than EVER.

This Disney fan event is BIG. We’re expecting some MAJOR Disney news at the event, along with special appearances from some famous faces (and maybe even some Disney executives), new concept art, and more. But wait! We have some NEW information about this year’s convention. Let’s take a look.
D23: The Ultimate Fan Event will happen from August 9th–11th, 2024. Tickets go on sale on March 26th, and we have a feeling they’re going to sell out FAST.

The 2023 D23 event took place at Walt Disney World Resort, but this year, Disney will hold the event in a stadium in Anaheim, California. Yeah, we told you it was going to be BIG.

Disney shared that the D23 event will include spectacular shows, new venues, and multiple days of entertainment. We’re expecting to learn more about Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more!

OK, now let’s talk logistics. From August 9th through 11th, you’ll be able to check out all the shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations, and more available at the Anaheim Convention Center. But then, in the evening, the marquee shows will occur in the Honda Center. If you’re unfamiliar, that’s a BIG indoor arena (home to the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL)!

You’ll have to pay MORE for tickets that access the Honda Center, but it may be worth it if you’re interested in the events there. Disney announced a brief schedule of what we can expect!
- Friday, August 9th: Disney Entertainment Showcase at 7PM
- Saturday, August 10th: Disney Experiences Showcase at 7PM
- Sunday, August 11th: Disney Legends Ceremony at 5PM

Friday’s entertainment showcase will give exclusive looks at movies, shows, and stage shows and fans will be able to see what’s on the horizon. The Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday will probably be the biggest event for Disney Parks fans because we’ll get updates on new projects in the parks! On Sunday, the annual Disney Legends ceremony will honor several new people who made an impact on Disney.

The tickets that include the Honda Center events cost a bit more — check out the full breakdown of ticket prices right here.
