Why a Random Monday Is SOLD OUT at Disneyland

Most people think February is a pretty quiet time in the Disney parks. Or is it?

For example, over in Disneyland, they’re hosting Sweethearts Nite for Valentine’s Day, the Lunar New Year Festival is taking place in Disney California Adventure, and there’s another event happening soon that may leave the parks sold out.

The Super Bowl is coming up on Sunday, February 11th, and many California residents flock to Disneyland the day after, Monday, February 12th, to watch the famous Super Bowl Parade.

The day after the big game, Disneyland will host the winning team for the day, drawing in massive crowds. One of the biggest events of the whole day is the Super Bowl Celebration Parade, where the team members will be on floats with Disney characters going down the parade route.

In the past, we’ve also seen areas of the park temporarily closed or roped off for filming, so if you’re planning to be in the parks that Monday, grab that ticket ASAP and prepare yourself.

Need a little more proof the park is going to be CROWDED? Check it out — the Magic Key Park Pass Reservation calendar shows NO reservations are available on February 12th. That means that unless you’re a Magic Key Holder who booked a Park Pass Reservation for February 12th, you may be out of luck.

Keep checking that calendar, though! You never know when additional reservations may open up.
