OK, we love the Harry Potter franchise. But we must admit, there are some parts of the books and movies that are a little scary!

Seriously — those Death Eaters are enough to give us nightmares! But recently, as we were doing a little holiday shopping, we came across some Harry Potter merchandise that is, um, SCARY! Was that the goal? Probably not. But you’ll see what we mean in a second.

At first glance, this Rubeus Hagrid Figure looks innocent enough. He’s got his big overcoat, a full head of hair, and a trusty lantern. What’s the big deal?

Well, what you can’t quite tell from the pictures is that this Hagrid figure is a gigantic 18 1/2″ tall replica! WHOA! Imagine waking up from a deep sleep and seeing this huge Hagrid figure perched nearby. That would be enough to give us a momentary scare — what about you?

Admittedly, this guy is pretty cool, though. He’s got a soft body with arms that are poseable, so you can point his umbrella any which way or lift his lantern up and down. Is it freakishly realistic? Yes. Are we still intrigued? Yes.
