We love seeing all of the new developments across Disney’s international parks, but if we’re being honest — sometimes we get pretty jealous!
Tokyo Disney Resort frequently has us contemplating flying across the globe for one of their fun new treats or popcorn buckets. Soon, Tokyo DisneySea is even getting a new land — Fantasy Springs — with three new themed areas: Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. Now, another new addition is coming to Tokyo Disney Resort — a limited-time, party-like “palooza”!
The new event series, “Disney Pal-Palooza” will take place in Tokyo Disneyland from January 10th through March 19th, 2024, with a second event beginning on April 9th, 2024.
During the first event, “Minnie’s Funderland,” visitors will be able to enjoy Minnie’s “fantasy-filled dream world,” with a new parade, themed decor, special merchandise, and new menus.
The new “Minnie @Funderland” parade will include six floats, 60 performers, and some of our favorite characters, like Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Minnie and her friends will appear on a glittering, bow-adorned float, dressed in hearts and polka dots.
Starting on January 9th, 2024, new Minnie-themed merchandise will be available in the park, from plushes to headbands and more.
The park will also be decked out in Minnie-style decor, from a Minnie Flower Bed at the entrance to dolled-up shops and restaurants.
A new Bow monument will go up at World Bazaar…
…and a polka-dot carpet will be rolled out at Cinderella Castle.
Starting on December 26th, 2023, new menus will debut for the occasion — like the Sparkling Jelly Drink…
…the Sweets Set…
…and Minnie’s Cute Classic Set.
From January 19th through April 7th, 2024, Disney Ambassador Hotel will also feature special “Minnie’s Funderland”-themed rooms!
The hotel restaurants will also feature colorful meals and desserts, like the “Minnie’s Funderland” Cake Set at Hyperion Lounge, starting on January 9th, 2024.
During the event, there will also be Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages offered, which include exclusive viewing seats from which to watch the new parade and a chance to get photos with Mickey and Minnie in their themed outfits.
