According to the Orlando Business Journal, Orlando is one of the top 5 destinations for Labor Day weekend, and 14% MORE passengers are expected to fly through the airport this weekend compared to last year.

Nearly ONE MILLION passengers are expected to fly in and out of Orlando International Airport this coming weekend. These are the number of passengers expected for each day:

Aug. 31st: 154,300 airline passengers
Sept. 1st: 156,800 passengers
Sept. 2nd: 170,600 passengers
Sept. 3rd: 149,100 passengers
Sept. 4th: 153,900 passengers
Sept. 5th: 134,300 passengers

So what should you do to avoid the crowds and potential issues? First thing, make sure you get to the airport within plenty of time to give yourself ample time to get through security. You can even see what the current wait times are before you walk into the airport, which can help a lot.
