Sometimes it feels like Disney is always celebrating something — and we’re not complaining!

Currently, the park is celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary, which quickly followed the 18-month 50th Anniversary of the resort. Now, the beginning of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month is coming up, and we know how Disney World is celebrating!
While we don’t have every single detail just yet, this is a snapshot of what we know will be coming to Disney World in September.
Characters
Mirabel will officially begin meeting guests in Magic Kingdom on September 15th! This meet and greet won’t just be for the celebration either — it’ll be available year-round.

You’ll also be able to see Bruno in Magic Kingdom’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade starting on September 15th as well!
Music
At EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival, you’ll be able to hear many different Hispanic and Latin American bands perform three times each night. Don’t miss these bands on the following dates:
- Monsieur Periné – Sept. 15, 2023
- Raul Acosta and Oro Sólido – Sept. 16-17, 2023
- Bacilos – Sept. 18, 2023
- Los Amigos Invisibles – Sept. 22-24, 2023
- Latin Ambition – Sept. 27-28, 2023

You’ll also be able to find the following live entertainment over in Disney Springs:
- Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression
- Miércoles Mágicos at Disney Springs
- Drey-C at Waterside Stage
Food
While you can already find many Latin American and Hispanic dishes at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, you can also grab the following:
- Sweet Mojito Taco at Amorette’s Patisserie
- Guava Ganache Square from The Ganachery
- Bruno’s Vision Cake at The Artist’s Palette AND Good’s Food to Go

Disney has yet to unveil all the treats that are going to be available during the celebration, but we’ll share them with you when they’re revealed!
Art
Disney Springs Art Walk will also feature TRATOS, a Miami-based Cuban couple, who will live paint their art in September.

Guests at Animal Kingdom will also learn to draw Dante from Coco, as well as hear about a featured Hispanic animator at The Animation Experience at the Conservation Station.

Disney hotel guests can also look out for Movies Under The Stars that feature Hispanic and Latin American culture and characters.
Merchandise
You’ll also be able to grab merchandise that pays homage to Latin American and Hispanic characters.
