Ready To Spend $16,000 on Captain America’s Shield? (Yes, We’re Serious)

How many times have you seen something in a Disney film or in the parks and gone, “Wow, I want that in MY house!”?

We’ve seen all sorts of interesting items in the Disney parks; some even end up online for three times the original price!  But have you ever seen an auction where some REALLY rare Disney items are up for grabs? If you haven’t, you won’t want to miss this giant auction happening in June.

From June 28th-30th, hundreds of rare, old, or just plain amazing pieces of history are going up for auction through the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.

Out of those thousands of items, over a dozen of them are specifically tied to Disney and Disney history. These items start at some very high bidding prices, like the Captain America Shield, which has a STARTING BID of $4,000.

Another item up for grabs is the Guardians of the Galaxy Star-Lord Helmet, which has a starting bid of $50,000!

Of course, we had to mention the Figment Skin we found from the Journey Into Imagination with Figment ride, which is starting at $10,000 and is expected to reach around $40,000.

This auction as a whole is offerings TONS of unique items from film and television shows. Online bids can be placed as absentee bids, or you can bid live online during the auction. There’s also a screen-match gallery online, where you can see the items being auctioned match the items used on screen.
