For the first time in FOREVER, we’ve got an opening timeline for World of Frozen.
Disney has been keeping us on our toes lately with progress updates of the new “World of Frozen” land coming to Hong Kong Disneyland and recently lifted their years-long mask mandate for visitors to the park. But now we know that Hong Kong Disneyland is just about ready to tell the guards to throw open those gates because an opening timeline is now confirmed.
We’ve been sitting in deep anticipation for quite a while now waiting to hear when we should expect Hong Kong Disneyland to debut their new “World of Frozen” land to the public and now we finally have a more narrow answer. For those that may not be as familiar, Hong Kong Disneyland has teased a new expansion of the park featuring the Frozen sisters, Anna and Elsa, and parts of Arendale kingdom for years. This new land has been named World of Frozen and will be ready for visitors starting in November 2023.
This opening timeline now confirms that we will finally be able to stroll the streets of Arendale and see some familiar faces around Hong Kong Disneyland very soon. It appears we’re also all invited (by royal decree of course) to a Summer Snow Day— which sounds quite interesting to see how it will all play out!
This new expansion will also be home to several attractions, including the first Frozen-themed coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, the Frozen Ever After boat ride (similar to the one we have at EPCOT in Disney World), and a unique character experience at the Playhouse in the Woods. Rides and attractions will also be neighbors to a themed restaurant, merchandise stores, and more things that Disney has teased.
It looks like for now all we have left to do is mark our calendars and grab our tickets to Hong Kong Disneyland to see what all there is to do around the kingdom once it’s officially opened.
