If you’ve traveled anywhere recently, you know one thing for sure — travel has gotten expensive.

At the beginning of the summer, gas prices were at an all-time high in Florida and flight prices kept growing and growing. Luckily, we’ve seen plenty of flight deals and gas prices have gone down quite a bit, but price increases on things like food (we’re looking at you Disney World) and gratuities have continued to make vacations extra expensive. But now, it seems that prices are going down on a few aspects of travel — let’s check it out!
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently released a report that shows inflation may have hit its peak. Here is a list of 10 things that are cheaper than they were a month ago, thanks to CNBC:

As you can see, on top of some grocery items, several travel expenses have gone down in price over the past month. First of all, car rentals have seen a 9.5% decrease in price.
If you want to have a car when you visit Disney World, it may be slightly more affordable now. And don’t worry — you’ll still have plenty of rental car options if you’re flying into Orlando International Airport’s new Terminal C.

We’ve been keeping track of the gas prices in Florida and over the last month, we’ve noticed a big dip in price per gallon. That is also reflected in the chart above with a decrease of 8% — let the family road trip to Disney World commence!

Airfare has been pretty expensive throughout the summer, but we’re starting to see prices dip. According to the chart, airfare dropped 7.8% overall since last month. There are also tons of fall sales happening on major airlines like Southwest, JetBlue, and Frontier.

Last but not least, the price for a night in a hotel has decreased by 3.2%. While this isn’t a huge decrease in price, it’s certainly better than an increase. If you’re traveling to Disney World, be sure to check out the latest deals — don’t pay full price for your hotel room.

A report was recently released that showed the airlines with the most delays and cancelations, the airlines most likely to bump passengers from their flight, and the airlines with the most customer complaints. Use this information to help make your next flight a smoother experience.
