NEWS: A Familiar Face is Joining ‘The Santa Clauses’ Series on Disney+

We’ve been diving pretty deep into the holiday season recently. Yes…we know it’s months away.

But Christmas in July and Disney’s Halfway to the Holidays have made it extremely difficult to not feel the holiday spirit! And prepare to keep the spirit going a little bit longer, because some exciting Christmas news was just announced!

Okay, maybe it’s not exactly Christmas news, but we’ll be talking about a beloved holiday franchise —The Santa Clause! Of course, we were excited to hear that a spin-off series would be coming to Disney+, called The Santa Clauses.

Disney already announced that Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell would reprise their original roles as Santa and Mrs. Claus. And it was announced that Austin Kane and Elizabeth Allen Dick would play their children, Cal and Sandra.

Disney also revealed new characters — Simon Choski, “a single father, ambitious game inventor, and product developer” who will be played by Kal Penn. And Rupali Redd will play his daughter Grace, who has a love for all things Christmas.

And now, according to Deadline, David Krumholtz will also reprise his role as Bernard! For a refresher, Bernard was the grumpy head elf.
