See Unique Pieces of Disney History at the 2022 D23 Expo!

Who’s excited for this year’s D23 Expo?

We know we are. We’ve been thrilled to see the recent announcements about the largest panels coming to the expo this year, and hear that guests will get an exclusive concert and the opportunity to check out a special costume exhibit. Now we’ve just heard about another special exhibit guests will get to experience!

The Walt Disney Archives will invite guests to explore 100 years of Disney at the expo this year. The exhibit, officially called Walt Disney Archives presents Step in Time, will celebrate the near century’s worth of Disney history.

Guests can experience some of the most iconic Disney moments by literally “stepping in time” to the nine different themed environments inside the exhibit. Rare Disney historical objects will be seen in recreations of the settings they came from.

The exhibit is chronological and you can expect to see animated shorts, film premieres and more for Disney films including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Mary Poppins. 

The Walt Disney Archives Stage will also return, hosting over a dozen panels and presentations throughout the weekend. Guests can also see Walt Disney’s Grumman Gulfstream I airplane! Many ticket tiers have already sold out for the event, but there’s still time to grab some.
