According to the Daily Post, there is one name predicted to be in the top ten girls’ names for 2022 that comes from a Disney movie that is SUPER popular right now — Mirabel!

This year, Mirabel is expected to rank sixth on the list of most popular names for girls among others like Hazel, Penny, and Olive. It’s a name of Latin origin that means “wondrous” or “of wondrous beauty” and is popular in many Latinx cultures.

If you’re not familiar, Mirabel is the main character from Disney’s new animated movie Encanto. She is an optimistic girl who is a down-to-earth problem solver — someone we think makes for a great namesake!
