PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Holiday Decorations Have Arrived in Magic Kingdom!

It’s time! The holidays have officially arrived in Disney World!

We saw holiday decorations arrive early in Disney’s Hollywood Studios last month, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom also got started on the festive decorations in October.  We’ve been waiting for the rest of the decorations to arrive around Disney World and today we found that Magic Kingdom has had a holiday makeover — let’s take a look!

As we entered Magic Kingdom, we spotted the first signs of the holiday season at the entrance to parking, in the form of giant Christmas wreaths.

And once we were through the gates and into the park, we saw even more decorations by the entrance to the Magic Kingdom…

…and on the Main Street Train Station as well!

The railings were decked with wreaths and garlands in festive green and red.

Even the popcorn stand is ready for the holidays.

But the main attraction? Definitely the huge Christmas tree right at the top of Main Street, U.S.A.!

You can’t miss this tree on your way it — it’s right in the center of the plaza as you enter the Magic Kingdom.

The tree is decorated with garlands, giant ornaments, stockings, candles, and more.

We’re seeing a lot more gold on this year’s tree than in years past. Here’s a closer look:

And all down Main Street, U.S.A., we saw more decorations, including garlands along the tops of the buildings…

…and NEW Mickey Wreaths on the light posts and signs.

In the past, there’s been more red in the decorations but this year, there are tons of gold details for the 50th-anniversary celebrations.

And, if there’s not enough on Main Street to get you into the festive season, even the stores have been decked out! Both the Main Street Cinema and Uptown Jewelers have some holiday garland hanging from the ceiling!
