PHOTOS: Take A First Look at the NEW Lobby in Disney's Contemporary Resort!

There’s been a LOT of construction at Disney World lately and one of Disney’s latest big projects was a renovation of the Contemporary Resort, including a new lobby, restaurant, and Incredibles-themed rooms!

Today we FINALLY got to see the new Contemporary Resort lobby!

Coming into the new lobby of the Contemporary, you’ll see a sleek and modern design. Some would even call it a more contemporary look (pardon the pun).

Much like the old lobby, there’s plenty of seating — this time with a modern twist!

New luxurious light fixtures, artwork, and furniture give this lobby a well-deserved makeover.

Like in many other Disney resorts, there’s a nice little area for the kiddos to watch Mickey Mouse cartoons!

There’s also plenty of new, colorful artwork that’s inspired by Mary Blair (the artist behind Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and the mural inside the Contemporary Resort!

Another new addition to the resort is a new restaurant: Steakhouse 71! This restaurant is set to replace The Wave on October 1st. Recently, the construction walls came down at the restaurant!
