Although Florida theme parks reopened almost a year ago, California theme parks are now starting to open back up!

With the reopening of Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood comes a new set of health and safety measures at the parks that are a bit different than what we’ve seen at their Florida counterparts.
While Disneyland is only currently open to California residents, Universal Studios Hollywood recently announced that it would allow select out-of-state guests. These out-of-state visitors must be 16 and over, and are only allowed if they are fully vaccinated.

Previously, tickets for these guests were only available for purchase at the gate, but now tickets are available to buy online! Guests will still have to show proof of vaccination and a photo ID. Out-of-state guests can choose from a 1-day pass or Universal Express pass.

Tickets are available most days in May, except for the days that are already sold out.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on ticket changes and health and safety policies as they continue to adapt, so stay tuned!
