We’re back at Disneyland Resort’s theme parks, and we’re sharing all the details of our day with you!

We’ve been checking out the new modified park procedures and taking lots of photos, but now it’s time for one of our favorite things — the rides. We’re getting on a ride to see what the process is like in a reopened park, and we’re taking you along!
California released details about what would be required as part of the ride operations when theme parks reopen. All queues for attraction must be outdoors, even for indoor locations, with social distancing measures in place. These measures include distancing markers, plexiglass barriers, and spaced seating, among others.
A few of the attractions began to fill quickly with longer waits. But, it’s important to note that not every posted wait time is necessarily accurate to how long you’ll be in line. Recently, we’ve seen queues move along a lot faster than what we expected in Disney World. So, it may be the same in Disneyland! However, you could wait the exact posted wait time or longer, depending on the crowds for the day.

On boat rides, smaller parties were seated a few rows apart from one another, while larger parties were seated in their own separate boats. Some attractions, like The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh and Splash Mountain, have even required that only one group is allowed per vehicle.

One of the most popular rides in Disneyland, Rise of the Resistance, has even made a few changes of its own in order to properly accommodate guests.

Markers have been placed on the ground to keep parties apart from one another…

…while plexiglass barriers allow for proper spacing between groups.

We can’t wait to enjoy more of our favorite rides throughout the day and continue to check out what Disneyland Resort has to offer. Stay tuned to AllEars for more reopening news!
