The Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them franchise has given Harry Potter-lovers the opportunity to continue to see the magic of the Wizarding World come to life on the big screen.

Some news was announced today sharing that Johnny Depp will no longer be a part of the franchise.
The third film in the Fantastic Beasts series was originally set to premiere in 2021, but it appears that Depp, who played the villain Gellert Grindelwald, will be recast.

This announcement follows Depp’s loss in his libel case against the publisher of The Sun newspaper. Depp released a statement on his Instagram regarding the situation.

It appears that Warner Bros. asked him to resign and that Depp’s role will be recast.

The release of the film is now pushed back to the summer of 2022. We will provide updates as they are shared regarding the release of this film.
