While the world continues to fight through the global health crisis, Disney World and Universal Orlando have shut down their parks indefinitely.

With no guests in the park, the Most Magical Place on Earth is a lot quieter than usual. And the rare sight of an empty park is exactly what Orlando’s local NBC affiliate captured in an overhead video of both Disney World and Universal Orlando completely empty.
NBC captured some truly rare footage of the completely empty theme parks of Orlando, taking video from overhead of what a totally empty Walt Disney World, as well as Universal Orlando, look like right now. To start things off, they took a brief tour of Universal Orlando, where Hogsmeade at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was completely deserted.

Similarly, The Simpsons area of the the Orlando theme park was shown totally vacant.

Interestingly enough, the camera did capture footage of some construction workers hard at work at the theme park, where it would appear construction is still continuing in one for or another.

Over at Disney World, we have never Millennium Falcon: Smuggers Runseen Galaxy’s Edge so empty. From the area by …

..to the area nearby the entrance of Rise of the Resistance.

Meanwhile, over in Magic Kingdom, Main Street USA is totally deserted. While the refurbishment to Cinderella Castle is not finished, you can see that many of the spires have been given a royal blue finish, with the top of the castle looking a lot more rose gold!

Magic Kingdom truly does look like the Quiet Kingdom right now.
