We can’t be the only ones who think that picking where to eat at Disney World is the most important decision you’ll make on your Disney vacation!

Luckily, we’re here to make that decision so much easier for you. We’ve eaten at so many places around Disney World, and we recently stopped by Nine Dragons at EPCOT and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
Nine Dragons is located in the China pavilion at EPCOT’s World Showcase. The place offers contemporary Chinese cuisine and is open from 12 PM to 9 PM daily.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
Inside, you’ll see ornate wood carvings, traditional lanterns, and exquisite glass artwork. The atmosphere feels very relaxing and authentic, and it feels family-friendly as well. There is no outdoor seating here.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!
Food & Drinks
First up, we grabbed the Wontons in Chili Oil for $14. This is made with steamed wontons filled with shrimp, crab, and chicken, and Sichuan chili broth. This was AMAZING! The wontons honestly don’t have a distinct taste. What we mean is it’s not like you can taste JUST the chicken or JUST the crab or JUST the shrimp. It’s as if you can taste all of them at once.

Like some bites, you get a little bit of crab, some bites you get a little bit of chicken. This is seriously so delicious! The annoying part about this dish is that it’s just an appetizer because we could’ve had so much more. The wontons are very soft on the outside, but firm on the inside. The textures go so well together, it’s like this squishy soft coating on the meat.

The wontons have peanut pieces on top of the wontons as well as green onions and peppers. This does have a little bit of a kick to it, but we appreciate the little kick it has. If you don’t like spicy, it’s really not that bad, so you could still have this. Overall, 10 out of 10!

Then we got the Kung Pao Duo for $29. This dish comes with stir-fried chicken, shrimp, unsalted roasted peanuts, scallion, and dried chilli pepper. You also get your choice of rice, which we went with plain rice. This is another delicious dish!

The shrimp is cooked perfectly. It’s firm — not too soft and not hard, just firm.

The chicken is also great in texture — just a firm bite. The Peanuts give it a unique flavor, which pairs nicely with the chicken and the shrimp, which gives you a lot of meaty flavor.

Whereas with the peanuts, it kind of adds a more balanced taste. Some green onions in there also gave it a nice taste. Overall, everything just came together so well. You get your rice on the side, so you can either put the rice in the dish, or you can just grab some rice and grab some shrimp or chicken, and mix it all together in your mouth.

It’s really what you’d expect from stir-fry chicken and shrimp, and it was great. Interestingly enough, this had more of a kick than the wontons and chill oil. So if you don’t like spicy, then this one might be a little bit too spicy for you.

For dessert, we had the Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe Cake for $13. The chocolate hazelnut crêpe cake honestly looked better than it tasted. It’s not that it was bad, it just wasn’t really sweet for a dessert, and it didn’t really have a lot of flavor to it.

All of the flavor really comes from the chocolate mousse. The crêpes are just there for more of a texture feel and to balance out the sweetness. The treat itself is very light and very fluffy.

You’ll eat it very quickly because it is still good and it’s very easy to eat. To be honest, we just thought we were expecting a little more. It’s essentially just light chocolate mousse in between crêpes.

To drink, we picked up the Dragon Fruit Frozen for $16. This is made with dragon fruit, rum, Cosmo mixer, lemon, and pineapple juices as a slushy. For all of you who wanna drink a cocktail but don’t want that overly strong alcoholic flavour, this is the drink for you! You can taste the rum, but it’s not too strong, and it doesn’t take away from the sweet flavour of the drink itself.

The drink has a little bit of a sweet taste, but it also has a tangy taste, which goes really well together. It doesn’t feel like an overly sugary cocktail. The drink is definitely more on the refreshing side, especially since it’s frozen. It tastes like a melted dragon fruit popsicle with rum in it. It’s a dangerous drink because it goes down really easily, and it’s pretty delicious.

Magic or Tragic?
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You’re looking for Chinese food! There aren’t many places at Disney World where you can get solid Chinese food, but this is one of them.
- You’re looking for a more budget-friendly option! It might not be the cheapest option, but it’s definitely not the most expensive.
- You want a delicious meal! We loved this spot, and we know you will too.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You want something cheaper! It’s not a four-dollar sign option on the Disney World app, but it’s not a one-dollar sign either. Something to be aware of.
- You aren’t a fan of Asian food! This really goes without saying, but you won’t find things like burgers and chicken fingers here.
Overall, this was an amazing meal, and we will 100% be back! This is a spot we think you need to check out the next time you’re at EPCOT.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
BEST Disney World Restaurants for 2026
Have you eaten at this Disney World restaurant before? Tell us in the comments.

I was really disappointed with our Dec. 2025 trip & eating at nine dragons. The plates have become bigger but the servings are extremely small (pictures). Will not go back, always enjoyed the bigger size and great prices of the past (pre 2025).
I’ve always eaten at this restaurant as a go to meal for me while my oh so wonderful wife is usually doing an around the world food sampling for whatever wonderful food at a festival it may happen to be. Their food here is oh so scrumptious, and I usually enjoy their potstickers and the most delicious honey sesame chicken. The staff her is always so wonderful, so friendly, and oh so amicable. I’ve been her many a time. One time it was so special for me on my birthday when they gave me a special card where one of the most amazing staff had written Happy Birthday in Chinese for me. Oh how very special that was, and I still have that with my Disney collection today!
