Is it too early to start talking about runDisney 2027? We don’t think so!

Every year, runDisney puts on four race weekends at Disney World, and one of them is the Walt Disney World Marathon. The 2026 marathon just happened, but Disney is already teasing the big race for 2027.
If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!
Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is such a fun way to kick off the year, as the race usually takes place in early January. The race includes a 5k, 10k, half-marathon, and a full marathon. Every year, the theme changes, with Mickey Mouse being at the center.

Disney took to Instagram to tease next year’s marathon, and it looks like Donald Duck is grabbing all the attention in 2027. The video featured a fun animation of Donald’s silhouette and his arms pulling the screen to reveal phrases. Even the whole marathon weekend logo looks like Donald Duck — you can check out the post here.

We’re thinking we’ll get some more official information about the race soon. Club runDisney will be able to sign up on March 10th, and the general public can register on March 17th.

If you’re looking to participate in one of the events, you’re going to have to make sure you RUN to sign up. Registration fills up quickly due to the limited spots, so don’t hesitate when the time comes.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s marathon, and we’re sure a lot of you are as well. We’re going to keep an eye out for more news about the event, so make sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
