Disney’s gearing up for another one of a kind celebration you won’t want to miss!

Earlier today, Disney unveiled plans for changes coming to Soarin’s in the summer of 2026. During this update, Soarin’ will highlight scenic lands, notable landmarks, and more stretching from “sea to shining sea” in what will be called Soarin’ Across America. And since Disney’s got their eye set on celebrating our nations history and upcoming historic milestone, they’ve got an even BIGGER celebration in store where you can join in right from the comfort of your own home.
There’s something truly spectacular about the way Disney celebrates a special occasion or holiday and this time, they’re bringing that big thunder into to one of the biggest milestones in U.S. history. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Disney is inviting us to join a heartfelt, coast-to-coast celebration filled with storytelling, unity, and unforgettable moments.

The celebration kicks off on Veterans Day 2025 and continues through July 4th, 2026 making it quite the celebration. (You knew the long celebration was coming, right? It’s Disney!) Disney Celebrates America celebration aims to pull together all of Disney’s platforms and brands to honor our nation’s past, celebrate the present, and inspire its future. Through touching stories, special experiences, and meaningful support for veterans, military families, and local communities, Disney will shine a spotlight on the people and places that make our country special, all while celebrating the spirit of imagination, ambition, and possibility.

As the celebration reaches its grand finale during the weekend of July 4th 2026, Disney will host a 24-hour, multi-platform broadcast event titled Disney Celebrates America. The nationwide celebration will air across Disney’s networks and streaming platforms — including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, FX, Freeform, Disney Channel, and National Geographic — featuring live coverage of events across the country.

This one of a kind celebration is set to be anchored by David Muir, World News Tonight’s managing editor, and the broadcast will include appearances from ABC News anchors, ESPN commentators, National Geographic explorers, entertainers, athletes, historians, and more. The day will end with a breathtaking fireworks spectacular streamed live from both Disney World and Disneyland, uniting both coasts in one unforgettable celebration in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

Whether you’ll be watching from home or planning your own trip to experience the fireworks in person at Disney World or Disneyland, this will be a moment in history every Disney fan will want to be part of. We’ll be covering all of the festivities as they happen in real time so be sure to check back in with us at All Ears for the latest updates and Disney happenings.
