NEW Space-Themed Experiences Are Coming to LEGOLAND Florida

New space-themed experiences are coming to the LEGOLAND Resorts in Florida and California! This is the biggest ever single in-park investment, with £70 million already announced for the two resorts.

The space-themed experiences will also include a new indoor rollercoaster at the LEGOLAND Resort in Florida and California. However, that is not all that will be part of these new space-themed areas; we have all the details that have been announced so far!

You can find LEGOLAND Resorts across the United States and internationally. In the United States, you will find LEGOLAND Resorts in California, Florida, and New York. Merlin Entertainments, the owner and operator of the LEGOLAND Resorts, just announced a huge investment in the LEGOLAND Resorts in California and Florida, where they will be adding brand-new space-themed experiences.

Both resorts will be debuting a brand-new indoor coaster in early 2026. We first heard about the ground-breaking roller coasters in March 2025, but now we are learning some more details. These coasters will be the most technologically advanced indoor coasters with a fully immersive mission from liftoff to landing. At LEGOLAND Florida, the coaster will be launching from launchpad Spaceport 885, and in LEGOLAND California, it will be blasting off from LEGOLAND Spaceport 886.

At LEGOLAND Florida, the new coaster will feature a covered, interactive queue that will kick off your journey. There will also be a new Orbital Outpost where you can gear up with LEGO sets and space-themed souvenirs. Additionally, there will be a DUPLO Tot Spot that will provide a soft play zone for kiddos aged 1-4 with nearby seating for adults.

At LEGOLAND California, there will be two additional space-themed rides and a Junior Astronaut Training Zone. Additionally, there will be Galactic Grub and Gear where you can grab “out-of-this-world food and beverages” and shop space-themed souvenirs in a themed retail store.

There is a lot to look forward to at LEGOLAND Florida and California in 2026. LEGOLAND Florida recently opened a brand-new SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium in May 2025. We were able to get a sneak peek of the aquarium, and you can check out the details here!
