Disney’s BoardWalk Hotel Suddenly CLOSES Its Lounge…But Not for Long!

Disney World is full of different dining options that we highly recommend exploring.

Rather than just sticking with your usual spots, we encourage you to branch out and explore, especially around the hotels. Some of our favorite spots are located at and around the different hotels, and a lot of them aren’t full-service restaurants — they’re bars or lounges. We do have to warn you, though, we just found out that a popular lounge is unexpectedly closing for a short period of time.

Belle Vue Lounge at Disney’s BoardWalk is a great place to go if you’re staying nearby and want to experience the bar/lounge vibe in the evenings. It’s themed like a 1930s sitting room, complete with radios playing various programs from that time.

Currently, the BoardWalk is undergoing multiple different projects, and another one has just been added to the list. The Disney World website now lists that Belle View Lounge will be temporarily closed from June 9th to 11th for maintenance.

Not to worry, though! You can still grab a late-night drink to unwind from the day just steps away. Carousel Coffee, located right nearby, will be open from 4 PM to midnight and offer bar service with a modified Belle Vue Lounge menu.

At this time, it’s unclear what the maintenance is for — it could be due to an issue in the kitchen, it could be for the floors, ceilings, or furniture, or any other number of things. Whatever the reason, we’re grateful it’ll only close the lounge for a few days.
