Disney has some pretty strict rules about how far in advance dining reservations can be booked, HOWEVER, there is an app you can use to book certain hard-to-get restaurants earlier!
For most Disney World restaurants, the Advanced Dining Reservation rules are pretty clear: The reservation window opens 60 days in advance (guests staying at Disney World hotels can make reservations for the entire length of their stay, for up to a 10-night stay, 60 days before their arrival date). However, there are some restaurants on property — specifically those not owned by Disney — that can be booked earlier!
Many restaurants at Disney Springs, as well as a few scattered across a few hotels (and even one partially in a Disney World theme park), are available to book on OpenTable.
Some of the restaurants at Disney World available on OpenTable include:
- Summer House on the Lake, Jaleo, City Works, Wolfgang Puck, The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s, Frontera Cocina, Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road, Terralina Crafted Italian, Paddlefish, Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia, and Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs.
- The Cake Bake Shop at The Boardwalk.
- The Rainforest Cafe is located at the entrance to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
- Several restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin Hotels including Kimonos, Il Mulino, Todd’s English Bluzoo, and Shula’s Steakhouse (which is closing in June of 2025).
These restaurants offer reservations that can be booked much further out than the 60-day window on OpenTable. For example, at the time of this writing (May 2025), we can book the Cake Bake Shop as far out as November.

It’s not just that you can book a reservation more than 60 days out, you can book a reservation within the 60 days when the disney app says no reservations are available. I’ve done it a few times for Raglan Road. And, today, I wanted to book The Boathouse for a day in June at 7:00. The app said nothing was available between 4 something and 8:45. Open Table had plenty of reservations. I got the 7:00 easily.
I have a better hack that lets me get ever dining reservation I want every time. Every person I have shared it with has had no issues either. I’m not sharing though.
