Disneyland Paris has something extra exciting going on this summer!

Disneyland Paris

No, we’re not talking about the World of Frozen land or the new Lion King attraction (although we are really looking forward to both of those as well). Did you know that there’s a new music festival that has just kicked off in the park? If you’re heading to Disneyland Paris this summer, you don’t want to miss it!

The Disney Music Festival is taking place through September 7th and has turned Disneyland Paris into an open-air concert venue! Make sure to check out Minnie’s Marching Band during the event! This is a musical procession that strolls along Main Street, U.S.A., led by Minnie Mouse herself and her 12-piece band featuring percussion and brass.

Not only will you get to see dozens of musicians, but you’ll also see beloved Disney characters! We’re talking music icons like Miguel from Coco (along with a mariachi band), and you can even catch some jazz music with Mary Poppins in Town Square, rock’n’roll with Stitch in Discoveryland, and more.

Even Chip and Dale are getting in on the action — they look like the coolest DJ duo we’ve ever seen in a Disney park.

This celebration comes as France is getting ready to celebrate “Fête de la Musique” — a festival that has been a staple in cities, towns, and villages since 1982. It was created by the French Ministry of Culture and invites professional and amateur musicians to take the streets with spontaneous performances, and is now celebrated in 120 countries!

Disneyland Paris will be filled with Disney and Pixar music during this time, so if you’re a big fan of music and want some experiences you can’t get at any other time, you may want to book your tickets ASAP!
