When I go to Disney World, I try to pack as light as I can. Does it work out successfully most of the time? Well, no, but that’s not the point.

I’m also not a fan of buying things I don’t actually need because I’m constantly trying to save all the money I can (#ballinonabudgetlife). On one of my last trips to Disney World, right as the hotter temperatures were beginning to creep in, I convinced myself that I didn’t need to buy this particular “essential” for the parks — needless to say, I was proven wrong very quickly.
Sunscreen is absolutely essential on Disney World trips, and I HAVE made the mistake of forgetting that before, but no more. However, I never really understood why you needed a separate sunscreen for your face.

Instead, I would just use my aerosol sunscreen on my face, just like on my arms and legs. While I didn’t get burnt, necessarily, I did notice something strange — it caused me to break out in these tiny little white head pimples, but ONLY on my chin.

I tried making sure I washed my face as soon as I got home from the parks to see if that would help, but alas, it was futile. So I decided that I would just forgo the rest of the trip without putting sunscreen on my face, figuring it would be fine. I used the aerosol sunscreen on the rest of my body like normal and just hoped for the best. Well, while I thankfully didn’t get awfully sunburnt, I did end up looking like this…

…yep, my face got decently burnt. But I didn’t want to keep breaking out, so before my next trip, I gave in and went to the store to see what facial sunscreen wouldn’t completely break the bank. Thankfully, Emma had recently sent a suggestion to our team about loving SunBum sunscreen, so that’s immediately where I headed.

Emma personally loves the Glow 30 Sunscreen, but I couldn’t find that one. Since I was leaving in just a day or two, I decided to go with the Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen Face Lotion.

This sunscreen is water resistant for 80 minutes and has SPF 50, which I really appreciate. Not to mention, it’s listed as lightweight and breakout-free, and I’m happy to report that it actually IS! I haven’t had any breakout issues with it and haven’t been sunburnt once.

I highly recommend this, especially for those who have more sensitive skin. I wouldn’t say mine is super sensitive, but it does react to more products than usual, so I would say my skin is more sensitive than not. You can grab it for yourself below!
