Universal Studios’ new park, Epic Universe, will open its portals to the public on May 22nd, and we can’t wait for fans to be able to experience this new adventure together!
Some of the people who have gotten to experience the park already are Universal Studios Passholders, as there are early previews for passholders happening right now! Early access to the new park is an example of the many perks and benefits that come with being a Universal Passholder. We have a list of all the things Passholders get, and why you might want to become one!
Being a Universal Passholder means enjoying year-round Pass benefits, as well as visiting both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure at any time (barring blockout dates depending on the pass). The benefits can include things like first looks, exclusive discounts, extended park hours, and even Passholder-only giveaways! Oh, and did we mention there’s Passholder magnets as well — and a NEW one is out right now!
Like we mentioned, Universal Passholders can now get a brand-new exclusive magnet. The magnet will be available for giveaway from May 1st to May 22nd, where Passholders will be able to receive one FREE Specialty Magnet, while supplies last. The magnet is themed to the classic, Jaws, in honor of its 50th anniversary this year!
We love the bite mark out of the “Amity Island” life preserver, which is the “O” in UOAP! You’ll also see the hidden detail of a shark fin in the “A” of UOAP. The design of this is pretty awesome, and we’re sure APs will be rushing to grab this before it goes. You can find the magnet at the Annual Passholder Lounge in Toon Lagoon in Universal Islands of Adventure from 11 AM to 4 PM daily. You’ll also find it at the Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida, from park open to park close.
There are other Passholder benefits that are coming with the magnet, for a limited time during the May 1st to May 22nd window! This will include special perks at select restaurants at Universal hotels, as well as exclusive Passholder menu items at select locations. There are even exclusive AP-only dining locations available during this limited time, where you can enjoy an exclusive menu or beverage items daily. The participating restaurants are Lombard’s Seafood Grille in Universal Studios, from 12 PM to 30 minutes before park closing, as well as Universal’s Great Movie Escape in Universal CityWalk from 10:30 AM to 30 minutes before closing.
How about exclusive limited-time photo opportunities?! Get 35% off the purchase of a My Universal Photos Annual Pass Photo Package when purchased in the park. And, Passholders can purchase any Amazing Pictures™ photo product in Universal Studios Florida and receive another of equal or lesser value for free. This is only available between May 1st and May 22nd!
Oh, and did we mention early entry into Volcano Bay? Any 3-Park Power and Seasonal Passholders can enjoy Early Park Admission at Universal Volcano Bay. They can go up to 30 minutes before park opening! This is only available for select dates between May 1st and May 22nd.
Yes, there are lots of limited-time offers, but there are many perks that you’ll be able to enjoy the whole year-round. Things like early-park admission, getting a head start of up to one hour on your park day! You get special discounts on hotels and packages, which include savings on staycations and additional park benefits. You’ll also gain access to the Universal Passholder lounge, where you can relax from the crowds. The lounge offers EXCLUSIVE merchandise, Passholder account services, and more!
Lastly, Universal gave us a little sneak peek at what’s to come for Passholders in 2025. Universal AP appreciation days will be happening from August 15th to September 30th. Universal will show love to APs with over 6 weeks of exclusive extras and offers. Passholders can enjoy special Halloween Horror Nights event perks and can take home a FREE UOAP exclusive button. They will also get special event perks and can take home a FREE UOAP exclusive button during Holidays at Universal.
There are so many perks and benefits that come with being a Universal Annual Passholder! When Epic Universe eventually gets added to the list (we assume), the perks will continue to grow. I won’t renew my Annual Pass this July until they include Epic Uni else on it… I should have to spend a 118.00 twice plus for my grandson everyrime we won’t to go there.. It should be included in the Annual Pass… So until then I’m boycotting Universals all together.. Highly disappointed in Universals..
