The Storied Lands will expand the daytime attraction Kynren in the United Kingdom and bring England’s history to life.

Kynren is a 90-minute performance experience that “depicts vital moments in British history and myth spanning 2000 years,” but this show is growing into a whole theme park: Kynren—An Epic Tale of England.

The shows are on Saturday nights with a 1,000-member cast and crew of volunteers and cover subjects like King Arthur’s search for the Holy Grail, Winston Churchill’s speech, and the Roman conquest of Britain.

The show is currently running, but with the theme park coming, here’s what we know!

Phase One

For Phase One, they are planning on adding five new shows to the area and will welcome exploration and connection to the past, “delivering multiple live-action shows featuring heart-pounding moments of action, thrilling stunts, incredible performances, immersive storytelling, epic music, and innovative technology.”

The Legend of the Wear

This show will be a water show with stunts retelling the Lambton Worm myth. They promise “the audience will be left in awe as the monstrous, cursed creature emerges from the waters.”

The Lost Feather

With a stage inspired by a bird’s nest, The Lost Feather will share the relationship between birds and humanity. The show will cover the beauty, power, and fragility of different bird species from around the world and how they handle their ever-changing environment.

Victorian England Show (unnamed)

Enter the gaslit streets of Victorian England with the sights, sounds, and stories of the era. “Everyday life is filled with drama, discovery, and larger-than-life characters.”

Fina

This show is an epic spectacle! Medieval knights on horseback, right, and a fearless woman “warrior’s courage and skill are put to the test in a breathtaking display of horsemanship and daring stunts.”  Animal horses are seamlessly woven into the performances, too.

Future Phases
