The most anticipated theme park event is almost here, as Epic Universe’s opening date is a little over a month away. In preparation for the opening, the portals are opening up at a national level!

That’s right, ahead of the opening of Universal’s fourth park, Universal Orlando Resort will launch the National Epic Universe Portal Tour. Wait what? How does this work? Let’s take a look!
Portals are going to be opening across select cities, starting this month. It will be an EPIC look at the exciting adventures that await you, at the one-of-a-kind theme park! The portal tour will begin in Atlanta — it will then travel to New York City, Philadelphia, and Chicago. It’s going to be an extraordinary experience that fans will not want to miss. As if we weren’t excited for Epic Universe enough, this will definitely be the icing on the cake!

The tour will feature a 30-foot-tall Chronos Tower! This will be a replica of the opening portal you enter Epic Universe through — an icon of Epic Universe’s gateway to the park. Guests visiting the tour will get to see the massive portal structure and witness thrilling sequences for the exciting adventures coming to the brand-new park.

How exciting will it be to get to see THE portal?! You know, the portal that will be transporting guests to the five immersive worlds of Epic Universe — Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

There will be photo opportunities beside the portal, and a special night-time spectacular. Guests who visit the structure at night will be in for a treat — a fantastical night-time display, featuring amazing light effects and music. Oh, and that’s not the only treat the portal will be delivering to guests. Visitors of the portal will also have the chance to enter a sweepstakes to win a free trip to Universal Orlando Resort, and the opportunity to experience Universal Epic Universe.

These are the dates for the National Epic Universe Portal Tour:
- April 11-13: Atlanta, Georgia (Pemberton Place, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola)
- April 23-26: New York, New York (Rockefeller Center)
- May 16-18: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The Rocky Steps)
- June 13-18: Chicago, Illinois (Pioneer Court)
You will be able to visit the portals from 10 AM to 8 PM on these dates, but times are subject to change.

This is such a great opportunity for fans across the country to get to experience a sneak peek into Epic Universe.
