This weekend has brought nasty weather to a lot of the Midwest and Southeast United States as a massive storm system has been moving across the country, resulting in multiple tornados.

Early this morning (March 16th), part of the weather system began moving over Florida, and it appears that the storm has majorly affected flights coming in and out of Orlando International Airport (MCO). Over 500 flights have been delayed today so far.

According to FlightAware, a total of 535 flights have been delayed at Orlando International Airport today alone. Twenty flights have been canceled, with most of those coming from Spirit Airlines.

The majority of the delays also come from Spirit (70 total), but other airlines affected are JetBlue (58 delays), American Airlines (47 delays), and Delta (65 delays).

As the hours continue to pass, we’re continuing to see this number rise, so if you’re flying in or out of the airport later today, mentally prepare yourself for some potential delays.
