Runners! Get ready to sign up for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
The highly-anticipated runDisney registration is just around the corner, so if you are interested in racing through Disney property, you need to mark your calendars.
General registration starts at 10 AM ET on March 11th! These registrations fill up fast, so make sure you are online and ready to enter the queue.
Let’s take a look at the races!
Walt Disney World 5k
This 3.1-mile race will be on January 8th, 2026, and is inspired by Pluto!
Walt Disney World 10k
Chip and Dale are the icons of this 6.2-mile race, which will be on January 9th, 2026.
Walt Disney World Half Marathon
The half marathon will be on January 10th, 2026, where you’ll run 13.1 miles with Daisy and Donald as your icons!
Walt Disney World Marathon
The iconic marathon! Run 26.2 miles on January 11th, 2026, with Sir Mickey Mouse and Lady Minnie Mouse.
Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge
Running the half marathon AND full marathon? Sign up for Goofy’s Race and a Half, where you get three medals and run 39.3 miles total!
Dopey Challenge
The Dopey Challenge is the most infamous challenge for runDisney. In it, you run all four races, secure six medals, and run a grand total of 48.6 miles. Whew — now THAT is impressive.
These runDisney events are a great way to meet rare characters and see the parks at a low capacity. There are plenty of picture opportunities and an expo to attend.
If you plan on running any of these races, ensure you’re ready to register at 10 AM ET on March 11th!
