If you’ve seen any post from AllEars you know how excited we are about Epic Universe opening at Universal Orlando!

We have been counting down the days until May 22nd, and while we’re thrilled about all the new rides, we are mostly excited about the food!
One of the 5 new lands opening at Epic Universe is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic where guests will enter 1920s Paris! This land will combine the world of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter franchise.

The land will have new dining experiences, inclduing Café L’air De La Sirène, a beautiful cafe with French sandwiches, baked goods, and desserts. There will be stunning architecture, a cream puff tower, and indoor and outdoor seating.

Le Gobelet Noir will be a darker location with hearty meals! They’ll offer soups, salads, and a variety of entrees and dessers.

Another location is Bièraubuerre, a WHOLE Butterbeer Cart! Bar Moonshine will have exclusive beer, whine, and cocktails, and K. Rammelle is a French confectionery shop.

While we haven’t had a chance to try the menu items yet, here’s what we think is going to be the best!
9. Salad Niçoise (Café L’air De La Sirène)

This French salad looks like it will be great for a lighter but filling meal during the hot Florida summer! There are potatoes, green beans, hard boiled eggs, lettuce, tomatoes and more. Traditionally, this salad is coated in a bright lemon vinaigrette and while Universal hasn’t given us all the menu details yet, we assume it’s going to be a fairly traditional take on the salad since it’s at Café L’air De La Sirène.
8. Lentil Stew (VG) (Le Gobelet Noir)

This vegan dish at Le Gobelet Noir looks delicious! It’s a hearty stew with lentils, vegan bacon, and vibrant root vegetables. It also comes with artisan bread which looks perfect to dip. This meal feels exactly like something they would have in Harry Potter!
7. Dirigible Plum Juice Mocktail (Café L’air De La Sirène)
We love when Universal offers mocktail options, and this peach and plum flavored mocktail sounds great. This feels like something we would sip on wandering throughout Paris while checking out the street entertainment.
6. Alchemist’s Platter (Le Gobelet Noir)

You had us at pretzels and cheese fondue! The Alchemist’s Platter is a plate filled with sausage, potato and cheese pierogies, pickled eggs, marinated beets, carmelized onions and of course a warm pretzel with mustard and cheese. This snack looks perfect to share between meals (but save the pretzel for me!).
5. Quiche Lorraine (Café L’air De La Sirène)

Just look at that mornay sauce! This baked egg in a flaky pie crust with bacon, gruyère cheese, and carmelized onions, topped with honey looks delicious. We’re always looking for more breakfast spots in the parks, and we’re hoping this becomes a new favorite.
4. Baguette de Dinde (Café L’air De La Sirène)

It’s not a French cafe without a baguette! This warm sandwich with cracked black pepper turkey, argula, crisp apples, and creamy Brie looks like something striaght from a picnic. It’s paired with a zesty mustard butter and apple butter, and we’re going to need this immediately.
3. Poulet à la Provençal (Café L’air De La Sirène)
This roasted half chicken is finished with a tomato olive vinaigrette and served with roasted potatoes and green beans. We can’t wait to dive into the juicy chicken with the acidic vinaigrette sauce. It sounds delicious, hearty, and filling!
2. Fleur 75 (Bar Moonshine)

This cocktail truly looks magical! This drink is made of gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and a simple syrup combined with sparkling wine. It looks perfectly elegant and we can’t wait to take pictures with it in 1920s France!
1. Butterbeer Crêpe (Café L’air De La Sirène)

Let us be the ones to introduce you to Butterbeer crepes! We just know this is going to be the talk of Epic Universe. It’s a Butterbeer crepe with shortbread cookie butter, Barvarian and Butterbeer cream, strawberries, a Butterbeer drizzle and a Butterbeer shortbread cookie. That is a lot of Butterbeer, but that truly makes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter come to life.
We can’t stop talking about Epic Universe because we know it’s just going to be, well, epic! Keep following AllEars to learn everything Epic Universe.
