Cha-ching! That’s the sound of all the money you’ll save with this sneaky hack.

We LOVE Mardi Gras at Universal Studios Orlando, and this tip just makes it even better!
Universal sells special gift cards called the Food & Beverage Card. This easy-to-use gift card works only at food locations. Right now, you can spend $65 and get a $75 gift card or $120 and get a $150 gift card.

While this is an amazing deal, what makes this a hack? The fact is that these gift cards don’t expire, as stated on the Universal Orlando website. This means you can save these cards and use them later, like for Halloween Horror Nights!

We love HHN, but the exclusive food can add up quickly. Universal knows how popular these specialty events are, but we know we can save up gift cards and use them later!

If you already know you’re planning to try every food and snack from HHN, we suggest you grab a few of these gift cards now and save money when you use them later!

This year, Halloween Horror Nights will run from August 29th to November 2nd, starting earlier than ever. This is a separately ticketed event, so you’ll have to grab a different ticket than your normal park pass.

Universal transforms into a spooky version of the classic theme park and sets up Haunted Houses and Scare Zones. Some of the popular houses last year were A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Insidious: The Futher, which was deemed the most terrifying house of the year.

The houses and Scare Zones, which are areas where costumed actors jump out and approach you, are not for the faint of heart. However, this time of year also brings some amazing snacks! One of our favorites is the Twisted Tater, a spiralized potato coated in seasonings.

If you’re planning on going to HHN this year, we highly recommend stocking up on gift cards so the food costs won’t scare you! Also, make sure you’re following AllEars for all of the best theme park tips and tricks!
