This EPCOT Italy Pavilion Trend Is Getting Out of Control

EPCOT is known for the World Showcase with 11 countries represented with shops, entertainment, and food.

EPCOT also hosts festivals throughout the year to celebrate different things — Festival of the Arts, the Flower & Garden, the Food & Wine, and the Festival of the Holidays. But we have a bone to pick with one country in particular when it comes to these festivals and that country is Italy!

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that we cover every single EPCOT festival. We are there on the first day to bring you our reviews. While there are always some booths that stand apart from the rest, Italy’s booth consistently does this, but not in a good way.

This year we were hopeful that L’Arte di Mangiare (Italy’s booth) at the Festival of the Arts would improve. Maybe our expectations were low or this booth has improved, but we gave it a 3/5.  The returning Mozzarella Fritta was a small piece of cheese for $9, but it wasn’t terrible. The Tricolore was tasty, but the sauces tasted store-bought. So while it has improved, it’s clear it’s still not our new go-to booth either.

Should we even bring up the “nachos” from 2024’s Food and Wine? Those and  Polpettine Toscane were just average at best. Thank goodness for the Vanilla Cheesecake because we’re still dreaming about how it tasted like real vanilla, not artificial.

We are begging EPCOT to improve this booth. There is so much to do creatively with Italian food and we think that it could be something special at the festivals. We would love to see delicious kinds of pasta, sauces, and desserts come to life at this booth.
