We Took a Jellycat Purse to Disney World — Here’s Why We’d Do It Again and Again

When you’re a Disney fan, anything can be an accessory! That Mickey Mouse souvenir character sipper? It complements our outfit perfectly! A pair of mouse ears? They make an excellent headband! We even use magnetic shoulder plushes to jazz up our outfits! In fact, even a classic box of popcorn can make a cute accessory. Don’t believe us? Just wait and see…

Recently, we invested in a new Disney World park bag. But this isn’t any old boring park bag. We were feeling inspired by one of our favorite salty snacks. That’s right. We bought a popcorn purse. Wanna see? Of course you do!

Ta-da! We bought a Jellycat plush bag on Amazon! Our little guy is shaped like a box of popcorn, but you can get all kinds of plush bags online — the possibilities are endless. (We have our eyes on the Jellycat Croissant for our next trip to EPCOT.

Here’s our little purse in all its glory. Isn’t it so precious? The top zips open, so you can stick all your park essentials in the rectangle-shaped part of the bag.

The purse is soft and plush, with a cute little Jellycat zipper detail. If you’re unfamiliar, Jellycat is a SUPER popular brand that sells all kinds of sweet, smiling plush characters.

The top of the purse was made to mimic popcorn — the material is super soft, so it’s a nice, comfortable bag to carry around all day. Plus, it’s lightweight, which is a huge plus when you’re walking all over the theme parks.

As you can see, we took this guy on an adventure all over the Magic Kingdom. After a full day of product testing, we found no major issues with the purse! It has a nice, long strap for carrying, a surprising amount of storage space for trading pins, a wallet, a portable charger, and a small fan.

Now, is this the most practical bag for, say, a parent with little ones? Probably not. While we were impressed with the amount of things this purse could hold, we will admit that it’s a little lacking in the pocket department. If you’re looking for a fun statement purse, though, this is a GREAT option! It will make any outfit WAY more fun — trust us.
