Do you already have your Disney World vacation planned for this year?

With a lot of changes happening at Disney World this year, we wanted to know if people are skipping out on Disney and more specifically, if they would skip Magic Kingdom in 2025.
Many of our readers said they were going to skip Magic Kingdom entirely this year and there was one common theme… price. Magic Kingdom does have the highest individual ticket price at Disney World. The cheapest 1-day park ticket to Magic Kingdom in 2025 will still cost you $148.08 plus taxes. The more days worth of tickets that you purchase, the lower for cost per day of the tickets are.

Magic Kingdom is also the highest price if you are looking to purchase Lightning Lane: Multi Pass. The price range for Lightning Lane Multi Pass is currently $15-$39 per day, per ticket. If you have a large party, paying for everyone to get Lightning Lane can add up quickly!

One of our readers, Lesli wrote “Money and waiting for major refurbishment and changes to be done!” Dennis agreed saying “Cost, crowds, and overall disrepair with multiple rides down. Secondarily, cleanliness and closures for new attractions. No need to go into the magic kingdom until the new attractions are available.”

Magic Kingdom does have a bright future ahead with the additions of Cars Land and Villains Land being added to the park. While we don’t have a timeline for these projects just yet, we understand why it would cause people to wait until they are complete for them to visit again.

Disney fans have felt more frustrated lately with the changes to pricing, construction projects, and DAS system changes. Make sure to follow AllEars.net for your Disney World news and information!

Are you skipping Magic Kingdom in 2025? Tell us why below!
We already went to WDW this year in January and skipped the parks all together! We slept in, had brunch at Kona, Art Smith’s, The Boathouse and Olivia’s and explored resorts and lounges! It was just my husband and I. We are taking the kids to Disneyland this year instead. We may skip the WDW parks completely this year!
LBH, the TTC!
Last year, with three park days I skipped AK. Next week with three park days, I did park hopper tickets. I am planning to spend the least amount of time in MK. In general the line are just long and my fave rides are all in other parks.
We are going in April, but Magic Kingdom is not high on our list. And this will be the last time we go to Disneyworld due to cost. Luckily we purchased tickets before the prices went up.
Demolishing frontierland in order to build cars on it is not a bright future for the Magic Kingdom. It’s actually a tragedy. Nothing the current crop of imagineers is doing is anywhere near as good as what was originally there. They’re destroying any semblance of knowledge that we have of what the work of Walt Disney was really like. There’s already little left of his original work other than facades and they’re going to tear it down even further. It’s something to lament over it, not rejoice over.
