The Best $10.99 You’ll Spend at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Aloha from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

The Polynesian is home to so many great places to grab a bite to eat, like ‘Ohana, Kona Cafe, Trader Sam’s Grogg Grotto, and Capt. Cook’s. If you are staying at the resort, resort hopping, or taking a break from the Magic Kingdom, you are going to want to check out the Polynesian’s quick service restaurant for a delicious meal that is only $10.99.

Located on the first floor of the Great Ceremonial House, you will find Capt. Cook’s which is the Polynesian’s quick-service dining location. While we love to pick up Tonga Toast in the mornings for breakfast, one of our favorite meals is offered during lunch and dinner.

The Pulled Pork Nachos are not to be missed, and to us, it is the best way to spend $10.99 while we visit the resort. The nachos come with house-made chips, topped with cheese, spicy mayonnaise, pico de gallo, and pineapple salsa.

We think that the sweetness from the barbecue pork and the pineapple match well together. If you are worried about the spice in the spicy mayonnaise, it is not too spicy. While the pico de gallo does not add a ton of flavor, we still think it helps with the texture of the dish.

This is a great meal or snack to share, and you can even Mobile Order these nachos and other menu items ahead of time. Depending on the time of year, Mobile Order may be limited to guests staying at the Polynesian, but you are still welcome to order in person if you are not staying at the resort.

Lunchtime at Magic Kingdom can be crazy, so if you are looking to take a break from the crowds, rest your feet, and enjoy some island vibes, you can take the Resort Monorail over to the Polynesian to try these yummy nachos. Or, if you are participating in a Monorail crawl, like a bar crawl or appetizer crawl, these nachos are a great option to split with your party.

We love the atmosphere at the Polynesian, so we are always looking for an excuse to visit the resort, and the Pulled Pork Nachos from Capt. Cook’s keep us coming back. Plus, it is a decently priced meal, especially for the amount you get.
