As 2024 is coming to an end, we are thinking about everything that happened at Disney World this year.

We learned about the newest expansions coming to Disney World. Disney also told us that we would be saying goodbye to some attractions like Dinosaur and Muppets 3D. One thing we really did not see coming was us loving this Disney World restaurant after finding it mediocre for YEARS… hear us out!
For a long time, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant has had a bad reputation for not being the best restaurant. The food here has been okay, but nothing special. However, in October, we went to try the recently revamped menu, after our readers were talking about how good these changes are!

We wanted to see if it was true, and so we headed over to Magic Kingdom. The restaurant is themed for Disney’s Lady and the Tramp film, even including a fountain featuring a Lady and Tramp statue. It’s a pretty restaurant, but that wasn’t enough for many visitors to return.

One thing we like about this location is that it offers gorgeous views of Main Street U.S.A. This is a dream spot for people watching the Festival of Fantasy parade.

Lots of people raved about the appetizers, especially Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table. This starter is just what it sounds like: Toasted Ciabatta with Roasted Garlic-Butter and Parmesan Fonduta. People have LOVED this garlic bread! Its yummy garlic flavor has made it a favorite here.

These portion sizes are nice as well. We could definitely split a few of these appetizers instead of eating a full meal here, especially on those hot summer days in the park.

Guests have also had great service recently. One reviewer shared, “The server was attentive and friendly, honestly making this a nice well-rounded dining experience.” Another shared, “Service was outstanding….great experience!!!”

That’s why they have won back over our hearts. If you haven’t tried Tony’s recently and this sounds like your kind of place, advance dining reservations are highly recommended for Tony’s, which you can book 60 days ahead of your trip on the My Disney Experience app or the Disney World website.

If you’re looking for suggestions on where to eat in Disney World or you want to share your own experience to help others plan their vacations, we have a review page for every restaurant and attraction. So, be sure to check them out!
